Welcome to MELC...Learning English is a major investment in your child’s future. An English Language Centre will be opening up in Milnerton in February/March 2011 for students between the ages of 10 and 17 years. Milnerton is situated approximately 15 minutes from Cape Town central and 10 minutes from the biggest shopping mall in Africa – Canal Walk. It is essential for all students to be able to communicate effectively in English to further their schooling career as well as future business and career opportunities. Our unique teaching methods and support systems will enable our students to achieve the very best results. Once the students have reached the required level to enter our government schools – by this we mean the use of every day English, we will assist with the placing or enrolment of the students into our government schools, if you so wish. The school also offers a home stay with an English host family. It means that the students will get to know about everyday life and the culture in your host’s country first hand and will also have the opportunity to use their newly-acquired language skills with them.
